LESSON LENGTH​

Weekly private lessons with an occasional group lesson are given. Most beginner lessons are 30 minutes in length.  As students advance in their abilities it may become necessary to increase lesson lengths to 45 or 60 minutes. Lesson length is dependent upon the age, level and learning needs of each student.

GROUP LESSONS

​

Group lessons are one hour and may be scheduled periodically throughout the school year. Group lessons are given in lieu of private lessons for that particular week. During these lessons students can work on a variety of musical activities, spanning from performance ettiquette, ensemble work, theory games, and much more.  These lessons are always much fun and anticipated by the students.

SCHEDULE

​

Lessons are scheduled on Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday.  The school year schedule begins in August and last through most of  May.  There is a Christmas/New Year break.  Summer lessons are offered and encouraged for elementary level students.

REGISTRATION

​

An annual registration/book fee is due in the Summer for the following school year.  This fee covers all core lesson materials, music for recitals and festivals throughout the year, as well as helps to defray the costs for recitals, student incentives, rewards, teacher dues to professional organizations, assignment books, studio materials, studio equipment, upkeep and much more.

TUITION

​

Tuition pays for the students' course of study and reserves their lesson time in the studio.  Tuition is based on 35 lessons from August through most of May and is charged in ten equal payments from August through May.  Tuition is due at the first lesson of each month.  This payment represents a percentage of yearly tuition and remains the same for these ten months regardless of the actual number of lessons given per month. Summer tuition is determined by the number of lessons that are requested.  Contact me for current tuition rates and the complete studio policy.
