Monster Piano Concert

Missouri Baptist University Concert at 3:00 pm
Held in the beautiful Pillsbury Chapel on the campus of Missouri Baptist University, the Monster Piano Concert is a unique performing experience for students. The event features performers on 7 grand pianos and 7 digital pianos simultaneously playing duets, trios, duos, quartets and even larger ensemble repertoire with a conductor. The performers are students of members of the St. Louis Area Music Teachers Association (SLAMTA). Parents and grandparents can also enter this event and perform a duet on stage with the student. This is really a FUN concert!
There is a $20 entry fee. Participants will receive a T-shirt, which will be worn the day of the concert. They also receive 1 complimentary ticket to the concert. Additional concert tickets can be purchased for $5.00 on the day of the event. Family and friends are invited and encouraged to attend this wonderful event.
Participants must be at least 7 years old on the day of the concert, be able to perform the piece at the designated/published tempo marks, implement expression marks, follow the conductor and make the necessary changes based on the conductor’s instructions.
ALL PARTICIPANTS MUST ATTEND THE REHEARSAL ON January 14.
