CREATING A LIFE LONG
LOVE OF MUSIC
The primary goal is to develop the musical potential of each student by offering a well planned course of instruction that includes a variety of repertoire, progressive technique and music theory. The hope is to help create a love of music in my students that will last a lifetime.
Lessons are offered to students of all ages. Programs are individually planned to meet the specific needs and goals of each student. Lessons are given in my Ballwin, MO home on a Kawaii studio piano and on a Yamaha CVP 609 Clavinova. Lessons can also be arranged to be conducted on FaceTime or Zoom.
Christy Hacay began teaching over 30 years ago. She loves teaching piano and feels blessed that she can help others experience the joy that can come from music. She is an active member in several professional teacher groups, including SLAMTA, PTRT, MFMC and more.
RECITALS AND FESTIVALS
Throughout the year there are many opportunities for students to participate in performances and adjudicated festivals. Among those are the Christmas Concert, Spring Recital and Awards, Federation Festival, Clavinova Festival, Sonatina Festival, St. Louis Arch Cup Festival, Sacred Music Festival and more. Participation in festivals and performances is optional, but encouraged for most students.
