THE STUDIO
Welcome to my studio, a place where students of all ages can come together to learn, create, and grow. I believe in fostering a supportive environment where everyone feels inspired and encouraged to explore their passions. Join and discover the joy of learning in a vibrant community! Proudly serving the communities of Ballwin, Manchester, Chesterfield, Ellisville, Wildwood, Twin Oaks, Fenton, Kirkwood, Brentwood, West St. Louis County and more. Each lesson is tailored to meet the unique needs and goals of every student. Lessons are conducted in my home in Ballwin, MO on a Yamaha Conservatory Grand Piano and on a Yamaha CVP Clavinova, with convenient options for online sessions via FaceTime, Zoom, or Google Meet. THE TEACHER
Christy Hacay is a dedicated piano teacher with over 40 years of experience, passionately sharing her love for music with students of all ages. As a proud member of several professional organizations, including SLAMTA and MFMC, she continually enhances her teaching skills. In addition to her teaching, Christy actively contributes to the music community by chairing various festivals in the St. Louis area. Her commitment to music education is a defining part of who she is.
RECITALS AND FESTIVALS
Participating in festivals and performances is a great way for students to showcase their skills and gain experience. The studio offers a variety of opportunities throughout the year, including the Fall Ensemble Recital, Spring Recital and Awards, Federation Festival, Clavinova Festival, Sonatina Festival, St. Louis Arch Cup, and Sacred Music Festival. While participation is optional, it is highly encouraged for students to take advantage of these events.
